1. Capacity in oz or ml

An “espresso cup” ranges from 2 oz to 5.4 oz depending on the maker. Check the number, not the name — a 3 oz cup makes a double espresso look mean.

2. Hob compatibility

Borosilicate glass kettles and percolators work on gas and electric hobs. They do not work on induction, which needs a ferrous base. Where a product page does not say induction, assume it is not.

3. Pack count

For disposables, the count in the title is the count in the carton. Lids are only included where the page says so.

4. Care notes

Metallic trim means hand wash and no microwave. Plain porcelain and toughened glass are usually dishwasher safe; the page states which.

Glass and ceramics travel wrapped and boxed, and we ask you to check the carton at the door. If something is damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photographs — that is enough to arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.
